Your body knows things your mind hasn’t caught up to yet. Your jaw tightens before you’ve named the anger. Your breath goes shallow before you’ve registered the fear. Your weight shifts before you’ve admitted that something is off.

We built Shakabuku for people who have given up on self-help — because self-help kept asking them to think their way through something the body was holding.

You can’t think your way out of something the body is carrying.

You have to feel it first. Name it. Put it down.

Nobody planned the disconnection. It accumulated slowly — across generations, across a culture that got more comfortable and less embodied at the same time. Shoes got more cushioned. Screens got more compelling. The nervous system learned to hover above the ground rather than land on it.
